Passacaglia: A musical form of the 17th and 18th centuries consisting of continuous variations on a ground bass and similar to the chaconne.

This is the fourth piece that was written for my composition course with Dr. Deirdre Piper in 2002. The assignment was to write a rather large-scale piece for the ensemble of our choice.
